GLENBURNIE TEAM
MARTIN HORAN
Head Man at Glenburnie. Hails from closeby in Kilmessan. Martin was the deserved winner of the Stud & Stable Staff Leadership Award 2014. Puts us all to shame as he is known to run the Hill of Tara after his morning lots!
SHANE LYONS
Assistant to Ger & Transport Manager for the yard. Like Ger, was a National Hunt jockey in the UK in a former life! Likely to see him at every race meeting overseeing Ger's runners and raceday staff.
ANDREW DUFF
Assistant to Ger and native of Tara, Co. Meath. Duff was a successful NH jockey in Ireland before making the transition to assistant. Likely to see him down at the start on raceday, keeping everything cool, calm and collected.
KERRI LYONS
Assistant to Ger and responsible for keeping our owners up to date. Big part of the team at the yearling sales every autumn. Generally followed around the yard by two gorgeous and faithful friends - Louis and Peanut!

JACK KEARNEY
From Castletown, County Meath, Jack Kearney was just 16 years of age and a fifth-year in secondary school in Navan when he landed his first winner at Dundalk in January 2022. He joined as apprentice to Ger in 2023. A young man going from strength to strength.

MARIE-LOU DONNELLY
From Co. Meath and part of Glenburnie's racing office since 2018. Marie-Lou ensures that entries, declarations and the racing administration side of things is up to speed. Likely to have lots of lists and sticky post-its on her desk!
JASON MCKEOWN
Very succesful National Hunt jockey in Ireland and since then studied Equine Dentistry in the US. From Co. Down, Jason clocks up many miles around our gallop as an exercise rider as well as travelling the country taking care of teeth.
ANTHONY LYNCH
Master farrier from Summerhill, Co. Meath. Anthony has looked after Ger's horses from the very beginning. He is never more than a phonecall away in times of need and and comes up with masterful solutions for horses with difficult feet.
