As the turf season draws to a close we send three to Gowran today in search of some more winners.

Two solid weeks of racing left in our turf season or to be precise, 13 meetings and we head to Gowran today with three declared to run. I awoke to heavy rain this morning so I can only imagine that it will be tough going today on a heavy surface.

The 3yr old only handicap sees INSCRIBE have his second start for us after seeing enough from him at Navan to suggest he would win a little one. A mark of 69 gets him in here off top weight but I would imagine that the 8f is as short as he needs to run. He works well and has improved every week at home but whether he's man enough yet for handicap company is the question I need to get answered.

WORLD WAR has been very consistent since I gelded him and he has been unlucky to have bumped into a couple of improvers on his last two starts. He seems to handle any ground and any trip from 9f to 13f and should be well received at the upcoming HIT sales. Fair play to connections allowing me to persevere with him to break his maiden, hopefully he can do it today.

MOJAMBO has a lowly rating of 58 and she basically runs to make sure we had the race covered for Colin. We have no idea how she will handle conditions and most likely would rather be up at Dundalk but she has all winter up there and as CK had no other spin here, we are taking our chance in this. I'm sure conditions will affect the rest of the field as much as it does us, remember, if you're not in you can't win!

I am 69 and have memories of you in England but please refresh my memory, who did you ride for? Did you ride horses for Dorothy squires? Sorry but just trying to keep mind active! PS got 5/2 about Colin - kick on well done
