Three 2yo's take their chance at Dundalk tonight

As per usual we go back up North to spend our Friday evening at Dundalk. I've declared three two year olds to run on the card with two in the nursery and one in the Listed race.

ROCK IN PEACE is Colin's choice in the nursery with Gary riding NOBLE INTENTION although there isn't anything noble about his intention to win a race at the moment!

(It amazes me and I know that it shouldn't by the amount of times one of mine will get a mark of just one above a certain limit, 81 to 80, 86 to 85 etc. I got a mark for another this week of 86 when the last nursery available this year has top weight at 85! Bloody frustrating when you are trying to give your owners a day out before the end of the season. )

I digress, RIP is small and handy and has had his mid season break where he had his summer cold and we gelded him at that point. He's in good order and should run his race but has a poor draw and nearly top weight so it's a big ask.

I'm adamant there's a day in Noble but it may come in the North of England but we will try him a few times up here first. He's a good looking sort that's probably let down by his sire.

The Star Appeal Stks is the big race on the card and we have the top rated runner in KING ELECTRIC. He has been another that we gelded mid season when on a break and this is him starting back. I expect him to run his usual game race but he would be vulnerable to a real progressive sort. I've put blinkers on him as we feel he only does the bare minimum when he hits the front and we need no excuses if we get the chance to hit the front tonight. He's another that's in the €100k final at Naas next week and he has that option after this.
